We are fairly laid-back at The River. There is no dress code; come as you are! We have greeters at the doors to welcome you and help you with anything you may need. Come early or stay late; help yourself to coffee and hot chocolate. We look forward to meeting you!

Generally, the first half of the Sunday service is given to singing and the second half is given to the sermon. We use a variety of song styles in worship. The sermons are Bible-based and applicable to everyday life. During the service, there are usually some announcements about what’s coming up, some prayers, and the collection of tithes & offerings (this is for our “regulars”—we never ask guests to give).

Infant / Toddler Nursery and Kids’ Church

Nursery care is offered for infants and toddlers up to age 4 during the entire worship service.

Kids age 4 through grade 5 are dismissed from the sanctuary to go to Kids’ Church just before the sermon.

We know you will want to socialize after the service but we ask that you pick up your children immediately following the service so that our volunteers can also be free to visit after church.

Please note that during the summer months we usually offer two services on Sundays. When there are two services, nursery and Kids’ Church are only offered during the second service.

Nursery care is offered for infants and toddlers up to age 4.

Children will be dismissed to Kids Church after the worship singing. The Kids Church leader will escort them to the room where we have Kids Church. Children ages 5 to 10 are welcome to join. We ask that once children go to Kids Church they stay there for the remainder of the service.
